Make your own floral egg
You will need: eggs, a pin, a straw, a bowl, a selection of dried flowers and petals, a paintbrush, glue and varnish.
Step 1: Start by making a small hole in the top and bottom of the egg with the pin. It is advisable to leave the eggs in their box for this part.
Step 2: With the pin, move it carefully to make the bottom hole slightly bigger. Be careful not to break the egg.
Step 3: Place the straw over the smaller hole and, taking a deep breath, blow the contents of the egg into a bowl and save it for later. Alessia recommends using them to make a cake.
Step 4: Time to get creative! Apply a thin layer of glue varnish all over the egg and arrange the flowers and petals in any pattern you like.
Step 5: Seal them in place with another thin layer of glue varnish and let them dry. Don't worry if it looks white at first, it will dry clear. And there you have it, your very own exquisite floral egg to show off proudly.
